The Dying Rooms 1-4
documentary "The Dying Room" by Kate Blewett and Brian Woods about the inhuman conditions in Chinese orphanages, which house (and kill through neglect) almost exclusively abandoned female children due to the Communist one-child policy.
An equal money system would prevent this
